Teaching a child how to eat a proper diet from a young age builds healthy habits that extend into their adult years. The occasional snack or sugary food is not harmful unless it’s allowed to take the place of healthier foods on a regular basis. So, instead of opening up the pantry and grabbing the store-bought snacks, make one of these apple quesadillas! The kids can even help assemble them, they can add the apple slices and spices to the quesadilla. Always watch kids by a hot stove.
This framework of making healthy snacks and meals builds a diet regimen that can affect a child’s health and physical growth. It is also proven that a child’s mental state can be affected by the foods are eaten. Encouraging healthy eating is one of the best ways to ensure a bright future for a child.
