Why we love carrots

One medium carrot contains 25% of the recommended daily intake of Vitamin A, which is great for your vision. Additionally, carrots are a good source of fiber, potassium and vitamin K. Fiber helps keep you regular and can lower your cholesterol levels, potassium is important for keeping blood pressure in check and vitamin K is essential for a healthy bone structure.

What to Do When Your Kids Say They Don’t Want to Eat Vegetables

Parents are always looking for ways to ensure that their children are eating healthy, balanced meals. But what do you do when your kids say they don’t want to eat vegetables? There are a few things you can do to get them to eat their veggies. And trust me, we have tried them all!

One thing you can do is make sure that the vegetables are cooked in a way that your child will enjoy – such as these yummy bars!

Cook them in a way that is flavorful and not too bland. You can also add some cheese or sauce to the vegetables to make them more appealing. My kiddos love roasted veggies.

Another thing you can do is try serving the vegetables with a dish your child already enjoys. If your child likes chicken nuggets, for example, serve them some carrots and broccoli on the side. This will help make the vegetables seem less like a chore and more like an added bonus.

You can also get your kids involved in the cooking process. For example, you could have your kiddos grate the carrot or zucchini, pour the dry ingredients into the bowl, or spray the baking pan. Here are some more tips on how to get the kids involved in the kitchen.

Pancake Mix is For More Than Just Breakfast

Pancake mixes are available at most grocery stores and they are usually pretty cheap. They are also really easy to use. All you have to do is add water or milk and then cook them on the stove to make classic pancakes. However, since pancake mixes usually contain flour, baking powder, salt, sugar, and eggs they can be used to make lots of other recipes.

Some mixes also include milk or water, butter, vanilla extract, and/or cinnamon. Baking powder is used to help the pancakes rise and the salt and sugar add flavor. The eggs help make the pancakes fluffy.

There are a lot of different brands of pancake mix, but they all have pretty much the same ingredients, and they make it much easier and faster to create your kitchen recipes including this one!

We all know that we should be eating more vegetables, but getting them into our diet can be a challenge. This is why these types of snacks are so awesome! They help to make vegetables fun and interesting.
