Nutty Apple Pancakes

For one, whole wheat flour gives pancakes a nutty flavor that pairs well with apples. Secondly, whole wheat flour contains more fiber than all-purpose flour, which is good for digestion. Finally, whole wheat flour is a good source of vitamins and minerals, such as iron and magnesium.

So the next time you make pancakes, consider adding a blend of whole wheat flour and all-purpose flour instead of just using all-purpose flour alone.

The cinnamon adds a little bit of sweetness and a nutty flavor that pairs perfectly with apples. The cinnamon apple flavors combined will almost convince you you’re having dessert for breakfast and that’s just fine by us!

– Fat-Free Milk: What sets these pancakes apart is the use of fat-free milk in place of whole milk. While some might think that this would make the pancakes bland, trust us when we say that they’re not at all. In fact, the lack of fat in the milk allows the natural flavors of the ingredients to shine through. And, it doesn’t hurt that fat-free milk is lower in calories, and well, fat!

– Applesauce: There are a few reasons to add applesauce to your pancake batter. For one, it can add a little sweetness and depth of flavor to your pancakes. And, if you’re looking for a healthier option, applesauce is a great way to cut down on the amount of sugar and fat in your pancakes.

– Pomegranate juice: Pomegranate juice is a great way to add a little sweetness and color to your pancakes. It’s also a good source of antioxidants, which can help keep you healthy. If you’re looking for a healthy way to jazz up your pancakes, pomegranate juice is a great option.

Pecans

– Pecans: There are many reasons to add pecans to your pancake batter. For one, they add a lovely nutty flavor to the pancakes. They also add a bit of crunch, which is always nice. And, of course, they’re packed with nutrients like fiber and vitamins A and E.

– Dried tropical fruit and cranberries: Dried tropical fruit and dried cranberries are a great way to add flavor and texture to your pancakes. They add a nice sweetness to the pancakes without making them too sweet.
