Bananas are one of the most popular fruits in the world. Though often eaten as is, they can also be used in a variety of recipes, including this one! Here are three reasons why you should include bananas in more recipes:

1. Bananas are a source of dietary fiber, which can help with digestion.

2. Bananas are a good source of potassium, which can help regulate blood pressure.

3. Bananas are a naturally sweet fruit, so they can be used to reduce the amount of sugar needed in a recipe.

Pro Tips for Making Cookies – Don’t Overmix and Don’t Overbake

Baking cookies can be a fun and easy way to show your culinary skills to your friends and family. However, do not overmix the cookie dough. Overmixing will make the cookies tough and chewy.

Another important thing to remember is to always bake the cookies until they are golden brown on the outside but still soft in the middle. If you bake them for too long, they will become hard and crispy instead of fluffy and delicious.

When It Comes to Vanilla Extract – Use the Real Stuff!

Cookies are a delicious and popular dessert, but they can also turn out awful if you’re not careful. One key ingredient in many recipes for cookies is vanilla extract, and it’s important to make sure you’re using the real thing. Imitation vanilla extract doesn’t taste the same and can make your cookies taste a little off.

If you’re baking cookies for any occasion, it’s worth it to buy the good stuff and make sure your cookies turn out great. Just be careful not to overdo it – a little goes a long way!

Wheat Flour vs White Flour

Both flours are made from wheat, but they are different. Wheat flour is the whole grain, while white flour is the ground kernel. There is more fiber and nutrients in wheat flour than in white flour because the bran and germ are left in. White flour is lower in fiber and nutrients because the bran and germ are removed.

Wheat flour is better for baking cookies than white flour because it has a higher protein content. This makes the cookies chewy and less likely to crumble. White flour will make cookies that are more cake-like in texture.

Is White Flour Bad For You?

There is a lot of conflicting information out there when it comes to the topic of white flour. Some people say that it is bad for you, while others claim that it is perfectly healthy. So, what’s the truth?

Well, the truth is that white flour isn’t necessarily bad for you, but it isn’t as good for you as whole wheat flour. This is because white flour has been stripped of its nutrients and fiber, which means your body has to work harder to digest it. As a result, white flour can lead to weight gain and other health problems.

That being said, if you are going to use white flour in your baking recipes, try to stick with whole grain versions whenever possible. And remember that moderation is key.

Why Do I Need Instant Oats? Are They Better For You?

Instant oats are a type of oatmeal that has been pre-cooked and then dried. Steel cut oats are oat groats that have been chopped into small pieces. They have a nuttier flavor and a chewy texture.

Which is better for you? That depends on what you’re looking for. Instant oats are faster and easier to prepare, but they tend to be less nutritious than steel cut oats. Steel cut oats take longer to cook, but they’re higher in fiber and protein. They also have a lower glycemic index, which means they won’t cause a spike in blood sugar levels.

If you’re looking for a healthy breakfast option, steel cut oats are the way to go. But for baking recipes, you need something quick and easy that can be added into the mix and cook fast so instant oats are the better option.

How to Store Cookies After Baking

If you are not going to eat the cookies right away, it is important to store them properly. Cookies can become stale if they are not stored correctly, and no one wants to eat a stale cookie! Here are some tips for storing your cookies after baking:

Wait until the cookies have cooled completely before storing them. If they are still warm when you pack them up, they will not keep well. And the heat can cause them to steam in your container causing them to mold.

Place the cookies in an airtight container or bag. Since these cookies contain bananas, the cookies will keep for at least three days, but you can keep them for much longer.
